The Vision Program is an initiative developed by Utsav Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting underprivileged youth through education and skill development. It aims to foster a spirit of innovation among students in India by promoting internships at both school and college levels, particularly within institutions.
Students participating in the Viksit Bharat Innovation Program gain valuable practical experience, which bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and its practical applications. This exposure not only enhances their problem-solving abilities but also prepares them for the challenges of the future workforce. Internships play a central role in the Viksit Bharat Innovation Program by providing students with hands-on experience and exposure to real-world challenges. Through internships, students can apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings, thereby enhancing their innovation and problem-solving skills. The internship project program aims to empower students by providing them with real-world experience, mentorship, and funding to work on innovative projects that address societal challenges and drive technological advancements.
The program is open to students enrolled in Schools, ITIs, and Colleges across various disciplines. We welcome participants with a passion for innovation and a desire to make a positive impact on their communities.
We encourage projects that leverage technology to address pressing societal issues, promote sustainability, or drive innovation in various fields such as healthcare, education, environment, and agriculture. Projects should demonstrate creativity, feasibility, and potential for positive impact.
Proposals are evaluated based on criteria such as innovation, feasibility, potential impact, alignment with program goals, and the capability of the student/team to execute the project successfully. A panel of experts and mentors will review and select projects for funding.
Participants receive mentorship from industry experts and faculty members, access to resources and workshops to enhance their skills, networking opportunities, and financial support of 2 lakhs to execute their projects. Regular check-ins and guidance are also provided to ensure project success.
Yes, participants are encouraged to collaborate with external organizations, companies, or NGOs to access additional resources, expertise, and support for their projects under the terms and condition of VISION. However, projects should maintain academic integrity and adhere to ethical guidelines.
Participants selected for funding will receive financial support from the Innovation Fund for Viksit Bharat to cover project-related expenses such as materials and equipment. However, the program does not provide stipends or salaries to participants.
