Application Evaluation and Selection Process:
1. Project Proposal Submission:
Students affiliated with Technology Enabled VISION can submit detailed project proposals outlining objectives, project category, methodology, budget, timelines, team details and expected outcomes. The proposal must be submitted through the Head of the institution (Principal/Headmaster/Registrar/Vice Chancellor)
2. Initial Screening:
Applications will undergo an initial screening to ensure they meet eligibility criteria and align with the fund's objectives.
3. Expert Committee Review:
A dedicated committee comprising industry experts, academics, and community representatives will evaluate proposals based on innovation, feasibility, and potential impact.
4. Pitch Presentation:
Shortlisted applicants may be invited to present their projects to the committee, providing additional insights and addressing any queries.
5. Final Selection:
The expert committee, will make the final recommendation to Utsav Foundation and selection of grant recipients shall be made based on the evaluation of final results and availability of funds.
6. Grant Disbursement:
Based on the recommendation of the committee and the merit of the project proposed, a maximum grant up to 2 lac can be sanction. Grants will be disbursed in 3 installments, tied to project milestones. The first instalment shall be 50% of the total approved grant and shall be released at the time of the project approval by Utsav foundation and terms accepted by the receiving institution. The second installment, 30%, shall be released on the completion of the project. The completion be intimated to Utsav along with request to release the second installment. The third and final installment, 20%, shall be released on submission of project report, presentation, and video. A complete grant Utilization Certificate shall be provided to Utsav Foundation, before release of the final milestone grant duly signed by project team, faculty chairperson and attested by the Head of the institution The project proposal must specify the milestones for receiving grants. Regular progress assessments will be conducted to ensure accountability and success. All Grants shall be released to the institution or to the account verified by head of institution for receiving grants, while submitting the project proposal. The proposals must be addressed to President, Utsav Foundation.
7. Mentorship and Support:
Utsav foundation encourages to engage industry experts as Mentors and will also try to facilitate mentorship and guidance throughout the project implementation to maximize their chances of success.
8. Showcasing Success:
Successful projects will be showcased through various channels to highlight the impact of the Innovation Fund, encouraging further participation and collaboration. The project teams will submit the final project report, presentation and a short video not more than 3 minutes on completion of the project. This comprehensive scheme aims to empower students, promote innovation, and contribute to the development of solutions that address real-world challenges, aligning with the broader goals of corporate social responsibility.
